Welcome to the first
Kadosh Soul Space update
of 2025
A BIG WELL DONE! You made it to March ~, and whether you just survived or thrived in January and February, we look forward to sharing our up-and-coming wellness news with you & our ‘top tips’ for holistic well-being as we move into spring
So, quick question: how are you?
More specifically - how are you managing those busy, chaotic, and, more often than not, critical thoughts that rumble in the back of your mind?
I read this great quote recently about the power of Silence and Solitude as a regular practice to combat them:
“A lot of people misunderstand silence & solitude as…a kind of emotional break for introverts to catch their breath before they return to the fray of life…[however in the Way of Jesus]… Jesus literally goes into the wild of the desert not just to get rid of external inputs but also to face down his internal inputs - and sort the voice of [God] from the voice of the enemy…[leading to] transformation” (Live no Lies ~ John Mark Comer)
This March take some time to be intentionally silent & alone, maybe go for a walk, & set a timer on your phone, even for 5 minutes. Notice your breath and allow it to slow. Allow your nervous system to settle and relax. As a spiritual practice, welcome God into the time to help you hear what is true over what isn’t. Allow the thoughts to come and go, lingering where you need to, and allowing truth to come to the surface. Maybe end with journalling, focusing on what you have discovered and gratitude.
Take time to find insight & healing this year
Why not sign up to receive counselling this year?
So often, we struggle because we are dealing with problems alone - let’s not do that in 2025, but instead take action to help us heal and grow

Leon Day Counselling top tip ~ Gratitude
practising gratitude can improve your well-being by increasing happiness & satisfaction, building resilience and enhancing relationships.
Tips for practising Gratitude:
#1 Write in a gratitude journal: regularly note down what you’re thankful for
#2 Notice positive moments: Try to be aware of positive experiences as they happen
#3Relive good times: think about or share positive memories with others
#4 Express gratitude to others: tell someone you’re grateful for them
#5 Say ‘thank you”: expressing gratitude can be as simple as just saying thank you
